“So let’s dance together!” – Kathleen Van Nuffel, Chair LDIA

The Legal Diversity & Inclusion Alliance (LDIA) was launched in Brussels on 31 January 2019.

Our commitment to diversity and inclusion takes the form of a pledge to eliminate discrimination in the workplace, to promote an inclusive organisational culture, and to take tangible actions to fulfil the goals outlined in our charter.

These are:

  • building a cross law firm alliance, focusing on diversity and inclusion
  • exchanging good practices on diversity and inclusion
  • raising awareness of non-discrimination and diversity issues by combining efforts in organising events, workshops, training sessions, etc.
  • working to create a diverse and inclusive work environment

We strongly believe that combining our efforts will greatly aid our progress towards achieving these goals.



27 January 2021: LDIA was nominated for the award of Outstanding Network/Group within the Diversity and Inclusion category at the Chambers Europe Awards 2021.

We would like to thank Chambers and Partners for their recognition and support of our D&I efforts, as well as our members for their continued commitment to building a more diverse and inclusive work environment across the legal industry.

The shortlist is based on the Chambers Diversity & Inclusion team’s research.

The Chambers Europe Awards 2021 was held virtually on Thursday, 22 April 2021.
